“If you love it, you begin to value it.”

You really think it is easy for me to pay gratitude to these tiny miracles happening in our daily lives? If you think so, you’re right. My regular practice of meditation has opened my eyes to observe smallest of things which I used to take no notice of, things which play a huge role in making our lives the way they are at this point of time.

And today is the time for Water to be pondered upon.

DAY 10: Thank you water, you let us live

Let me share one of my observations. While I was washing the dishes, I wondered how much water would it take to wash the dishes? Is it necessary that the water valves must be fully open, or can I open it partially to wash them without any difficulty? It is a self-realization. It comes from within.

We all, unintentionally, cause so much wastage of water each day that it could probably quench the thirst of at least three to four families. We all have the basic elements of life in ABUNDANCE. But it is a human nature, we tend to overlook the gift of bountiful pleasures. Water, food, sanitation, clothes, shelter and money are rarely considered as luxury. Because Luxury is defined as “things beyond basics” (I hope you understand the irony).

It is all about the “Power of Gratitude”, “Problem of Abundance” and “Practice of Ignorance”. How often we have been grateful for 24*7 water supply in our homes, sufficient water to drink, and do all the day-to-day tasks? How mindful are we of our acts with water? These are the questions to be asked to self.

Our small gestures of thoughtfulness to every single action can bring a huge change. How? You may inspire someone which will be forwarded further, or while you teach a kid in your home he/she will learn how to be aware of their acts with such luxuries of life.

How can you be mindful of your acts? Let me give a few examples.

You wash vegetables with water. Collect the muddy water in a bucket, and water your plants. Stop running taps while you are brushing your teeth, shaving, washing your hands, or rub your utensils with dish-washer detergents. Fix any leaky taps or water-pipelines as it wastes gallons of water in every house each day, and similarly keep a close eye on your every act with water.

Let us all be Thankful In Abundance to the Water in Abundance. Such gestures will prove that this gratitude comes from within. You are lucky to have a 24*7 water supply even in the days of crisis like these.

THANK YOU UNIVERSE FOR MAKING ME WATER-WEALTHY”

And the Activity for today is,

ACTIVITY- “Try to be grateful to water every time you come across it. Pay your gratitude with all your heart in your mind. And as I mentioned above, be careful with your actions and take careful measures to save water.”

Thank you readers, for supporting me constantly. If you want to share anything, comment section is the space. I would love to hear it from you.

Love,
