“Life is a long journey. And Food is our companion for lifetime.”

In the past few days, I had vegan pizza, Tamarind rice, cake, pani-puri, Pao bhaji, Matar Kulcha, Navratri special- Chana puri halwa, Sabudana khichdi, Dal kachori, Fried rice, Hakka noodles, Gulab jamun, Gajar Halwa, and a lot more. Damn, I did not keep track of all of it 🤩🤩🤩. My mouth has begun to salivate recalling all of the delicacies.

Food is for Fun. Food is for Excitement. Food is soulful. Is your list ready for how you’re going to treat your belly in the last few days of lock-down? But do we have the Food in abundance?

Have you ever realized how do we discover our likes and dislikes?

We value something in life unless we have faced it’s scarcity. What if we were not rich enough to afford bread for the day and worked for long hours empty stomach?

Thank You God, Thank You God, Thank You God!!”

DAY 13: THANKING EVERY GRAIN OF FOOD WE CONSUME

As it is now quite relatable with the current scenario, what could have been the consequences of a sudden curfew? Could we have survived without daily ration for so long?

We have a close escape to such situation. We just felt the sense of thankfulness to the Government and the ration shops that are providing food supplies to us, the Janta.

In my experience, we are 7 people and my dog in the house. Every time he gets some ration for the house, I feel so blessed that we are not running out of any food supply and have enough money to afford to buy them.

Unfortunately, not every state is able to provide ration services to their public. Conditions are not equally favorable for every citizen of India.

At this point of time, can we perceive how important it is for all of us to understand how valuable is every grain of food for us?

Introspect and feel grateful every time you have your meal or snack round the clock. We are lucky that we are not starving.

Give thanks to all the men who grew it from seeds to a raw material, the middlemen, or who bought the food for you to cook at home. But what happens when we feel the gratefulness?

The Food tastes better. You give your positive energy to the dish you’re craving to eat. The dish seems savory to you. When we chew, you put your focus on your food. You would realize that the flavors seem to explode. The more you are grateful, the more you’ll attract food in abundance even for those in need.

Love it. Feel it. Then consume it. You’ll feel the magic.

“THANK YOU UNIVERSE THAT WE HAVE MONEY IN ABUNDANCE TO BUY ENOUGH DAILY BREAD FOR US EVEN IN THE DAYS OF CRISIS. EVERY BITE I TAKE IN, IS A MAGICAL POTION- AN ELIXIR. WE ALL ARE BLESSED.”

And the Activity for today :D

ACTIVITY- “Before you take in anything to eat. Savor it by simply looking at it. Gaze the food you’re about to consume. And deeply feel thankfulness. Say THANK YOU.”

Thank you readers, for supporting me constantly. If you want to share anything, comment section is the space. I would love to hear it from you.

Love,
