5th day of QUARANTINE Gratitude
“Surface the goodness in you. Surface your sense of responsibility. Now, it is the time to stand UNITED.”
Many a times we come across situations in groups or work communities where a good “LEADER” is all we want. In schools, we are being morally taught “Who is a leader? How to become a leader?” Our minds are trained to inculcate apt leadership qualities. We rigorously challenge our caliber and condition our characteristics to become one hell of a Leader. But how good are we as a simple team player? What are the values you can portray as a good and an able member?
With the outburst of pandemic which would definitely last longer than we can imagine will vanish one day. Crisis hits all of a sudden- in our lives or the world itself. The nation today requires You to be a Good Team Player today, as a responsible citizen of INDIA.
“Thank you God, Thank you God, Thank you God”
DAY 5: APKO MERA NAMAN, MERE PYARE DESH-VASIYON
Listening to PM NaMo’s “Mann Ki Baat” today morning, he was kind, thoughtful and THANKFUL to all THE Nurses, Doctors, Security forces, Helpers, Journalists, people running their ration stores, in fact every active member who is away from their homes to work for us. All this time he has been literally pleading us to stay in our homes and not to cross “ghar ki lakshman rekha”.
Adding to all of it, he specially mentioned one thing. He urged us to be thankful to those who have Quarantined themselves without any external force effective and showing no symptoms, to avoid contacting other people. This made me thoughtful of how thankful we can be to even those people who are simply understanding how critical the nation is today and taking small steps to help it all work.
Some not-so-thoughtful heads are still roaming around the city unnecessarily, and some curious heads are coming out of their homes to see how many of us are really out of their homes. Applauds to them firstly. And then deeply thanking those who are trying to convince such people to STAY AT HOME.
People circulating their good wishes all across the social media, posting videos to spread “Home Is Good” thoughts, people showing concern for each other through telephonic calls, VoIP or video chats, all the social-workers whose role I am not able to surface at this moment, or be it people who are tolerating tantrums of some unreasonable humans- Religious beliefs are side-lined and all of them are standing strong in this.
Today, is the time to Be a good team player- as a Responsible Citizen of India and Thanking not only the active workers today but also every fellow Citizen. Because, it is the high-time we realize “United we stand, divided we fall”.
“I DEEPLY THANK ALL THE CITIZENS OF INDIA WHO SENSE THEIR RESPONSIBILITY TO FIGHT THIS DISASTROUS PANDEMIC SITUATION. MAY WE ALL HARBOR GOOD DEEDS IN OUR MINDS AND FIGHT THE UGLY-HEADED FEARLESSLY TOO. JAI HIND!”
It’s the time for Activity!
ACTIVITY- “Reach out to that one person who has inspired you the most to stay safe, healthy and positive through these times. You can actively send them a message or just send them good vibes deep in your mind.”
